Amy joined The Gardens Rehab and Care Center in 1998, working as a part-time valet when she was just 16 years old and still in Kingman High School. In 2004 Amy became a Registered Nurse at The Lingenfelter Center in Kingman, AZ and graduated the next year from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and began serving as Director of Nursing at The Lingenfelter Center.
During her tenure as Director of Nursing, Amy introduced and executed the palliative model of care into The Lingenfelter Center's philosophy. During this time, TLC earned multiple "excellent" ratings from the Department of Health Services and, in 2008, Amy was named as Gerontologist of the Year by The Arizona Geriatrics Society.
In 2010, Amy became the Administrator of The Lingenfelter Center and also graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Masters of Administration in Health Sciences.
